A passionate pedagogue is sought for the kindergarten at Solsikken’s Children’s House in Middelfart.

Then you now have the opportunity to become a pedagogue at Solsikken, which as of 1 March 2026 moved into entirely new, well-considered frameworks that are rapidly growing in both the number of children and staff.

Solsikken is a safe, well-functioning day care with a strong culture and an engaged staff. Now we are expanding and are seeking a pedagogue for the kindergarten who wants to be part of an exciting development process, where you will have real influence on everyday life, pedagogy and the community.

We are looking for a pedagogue who is a child magnet – an adult with calm, presence and authenticity, whom children instinctively are drawn to. A pedagogue who with their personality, professionality and generosity creates relationships where children feel seen, met and invited into the community.

A meaningful everyday life – for both children and adults

In Solsikken we start from the children’s perspectives and follow their traces. We believe that all children do their best, and we plan our pedagogy with a view to resources, intentions and communities.

Nature, outdoor life and movement fill our daily life. We explore the world together with the children and create the framework for our shared curiosity to unfold.

Solsikken is part of a joint day care together with Naturhaven. Although we are spread over two sites, we stand together for a common professional foundation and the vision: From Middelfart child to Citizen of the World.

Practical

Interviews will be held on Tuesday 17 November 2026 from 12:00.

Working hours: 37 hours

Hiring date: As soon as possible or no later than 1 January 2026

Salary placement is made according to the collective agreement for pedagogues at day-care institutions, after-school programs, clubs, etc., our supplementary agreements and possibly individual allowances based on special competences, knowledge or experience. The position's salary range as pedagogue will be from 33,274.23 to 39,458.24 DKK, depending on the candidate's seniority, further education and personal competences. Salary range is monthly salary excluding pension.
