Educator wanted for our special group

Are you looking for a job where your professional expertise really makes a difference?

In Mejsegruppen we are looking for an educator who wants to become part of a small, close and professionally strong team, where together we create good days for eight wonderful children aged 0-6 years with challenges within the autism spectrum.

With us you get the opportunity to work closely with the children and use your pedagogical expertise every day. We work with safety, relationships, structure and development and with AAC – augmentative and alternative communication.

We are three fixed adults and will be four with you. We know each other well, help each other and stand together – even when everyday life requires a little extra.

• Opportunity to develop professionally

We have weekly group meetings, supervision and a fixed interdisciplinary sparring forum with among others psychologist, speech therapist, physiotherapist/occupational therapist and family advisor.

• Time for presence and the individual child

We work in smaller groups and plan activities based on the children's needs, interests and development opportunities.

• A daily life with lots of outdoor life

We have our own enclosed playground and four cargo bikes, which we use frequently. We are outdoors every day – all year – and are happy to go on small trips and experiences together.

• A workplace with job satisfaction

We think it should be pleasant and fun to go to work. There should be room for laughter, good ideas, diversity and for asking each other for help.

A large house with many colleagues

Mejsegruppen is part of a house with three daycare groups and three kindergarten groups, where we collaborate across and can draw on each other’s professional expertise.

About the position

The position is 37 hours per week with start date 1 December or as soon as possible.
