Educator wanted for the nursery at Corneliusmindevej

Are you eager to be part of a small, close-knit nursery where relationships, professionalism and children's communities are in focus? Then it might be you we are looking for.

Vuggestuen Corneliusmindevej has 27 lovely children and nine dedicated staff, and we are seeking a qualified pedagogue who wants to help create safe, developmental and nurturing environments for all children.

Welcome to Corneliusmindevej

When you arrive at Vuggestuen Corneliusmindevej, you meet a charming brickmason's villa with small rooms, quirky angles, cozy corners and stairs. Around the house we have a green and lovely garden with, among other things, fruit trees, shrubs and plenty of opportunities for play and immersion.

We use the garden every day, and we also often go on trips in the local area. We visit, among other things, NaturSchool, playgrounds, the beach and the Blue Base at the harbour. We emphasize that children get the opportunity to experience, explore and be curious about the world around them.

The nursery is located in Tårnby Municipality in the middle of a cozy residential area close to the border of Copenhagen Municipality.

Inside, there is often a scent of delicious food from our kitchen, where meals are prepared from 100% organic ingredients.

Our pedagogical work

With us, pedagogy starts from relationships, social child communities and parental involvement.

We place emphasis on present and engaged adults who see the individual child, build on the child’s resources and support the child’s development. We work purposefully with the child’s zone of proximal development and with creating safe and caring learning environments where children have the opportunity to participate actively and develop through their own learning processes.

A close collaboration with the kindergarten

The nursery has a kindergarten attached, Børnehaven Tejn Allé. The two institutions are physically separated by about one kilometre, but operated under the same leadership and with a shared pedagogical direction.

The kindergarten has 40 children aged 3-6 years and seven staff, and we have a close collaboration across the two houses.

Salary and employment terms

The appointment is made under the applicable agreement with BUPL after negotiation.

The municipality's recruitment policy requires that references are collected from previous and current workplaces. If you have been employed by Tårnby Municipality, a reference will always be taken here. In addition, a criminal record certificate and a child safeguarding certificate must be presented at employment. Employment will be conditional on these being satisfactory.
