Do you want to play with us? We are currently looking for an educator who is passionate about life in the nursery for Børnehuset Solsikken. Come and help make a difference for our 44 wonderful nursery children

The position is 37 hours per week with start date 1 January 2027

We are looking for colleagues who are passionate about nursery pedagogy, value presence, care and safety in everyday life and at the child’s level.

Børnehuset Solsikken is an institution that began as a nursery in January 2023 and in November 2024 was expanded with a kindergarten. In the nursery there are 44 lovely children spread over 3 rooms, we are surrounded by a large playground and a good local environment with many opportunities. In the kindergarten there are 40 children spread over 2 rooms.

Børnehuset Solsikken has an address in newly renovated premises at Sallvej 39, 8450 Hammel. We expect that you:

• Are a trained educator with interest and knowledge to support the development of 0-2-year-olds
• Can work with structure, repetition and predictability
• Are professionally well-founded and proactive
• Are stable and flexible
• Have a sense of your physical presence – you are where the children are and focus on creating developmentally learning spaces – enjoy playing
• Are open to sparring and development of both shared and own practice
• Are initiative-taking and take independent responsibility and co-responsibility for planning, execution, as well as evaluation of pedagogical practice and other tasks

Børnehuset Solsikken is part of Area Hammel, which consists of 8 institutions. In the area we work among other things with the strengthened curricula, focus on small and large learning communities. As pedagogical tools we use the LP-model, RARRT, the brain and the heart. Want to know more:

Salary and employment conditions

Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the current collective agreement with BUPL and according to the principles for new pay.
