Educator for Dagmarskolen's SFO – with a special education focus

Dagmarskolen's SFO is seeking a qualified educator for 37 hours per week with start date 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

You will be part of the work to establish our new SFO intermediate form. At Dagmarskolen we already have an intermediate form in the school part, and the SFO intermediate form is being developed as a natural next step. We want to create coherence, structure and safety for the children throughout the day – from teaching and into the SFO.

The aim is to secure the best possible conditions for well-being, development and participation, also for children in vulnerable positions and children with special needs. With the SFO intermediate form we want to create clear pedagogical frameworks and meaningful communities, so the children also experience safety, structure and opportunities to participate in the leisure part of their day.

You will therefore – together with other educators and staff – have an important role in establishing, developing and shaping the framework and content of the SFO intermediate form.

We emphasize that you

• Are a qualified educator.
• Have relevant continuing education, preferably within mentalization, milieu therapy or other special pedagogical approaches.
• Have the desire to and preferably experience with special-pedagogical work with children in vulnerable positions and children with special needs.
• Have strong relationship skills and can create safe relationships with children.
• Can work in a de-escalating and clear manner in meetings with children with special needs.
• Work in an affirming, context-based and inclusive way.
• Have an eye for children's resources and development potential.
• Want to actively contribute to the development of the SFO intermediate form as well as their own practice.

• Actively participates in cross-disciplinary collaboration with teachers, educators and the school management.

• Dares to bring their competencies into play and is curious about others’.
• Wants to and dares to pursue further training within the field of special pedagogy.
• Contributes to creating meaningful activities and communities where all children experience opportunities to participate, well-being and belonging.

Your primary hours will be from 8:00 to 17:00 on weekdays.

Dagmarskolen is located 200 m from Ringsted Station. There are frequent train connections north (Roskilde/Copenhagen), south (Næstved/Vordingborg) and west (Sorø, Slagelse).
