We expect the educator

• can apply theoretical and research-based knowledge in their core task - to create well-being, learning and development for the children.
• can translate knowledge into practice, including reflecting and communicating with professionals and parents.
• has the ability to establish diverse learning environments within language development, motor skills, cultural dissemination, creativity and the natural sciences area.
• can plan the pedagogical work and ensure that it is carried out with a certain level of systematic approach and focus.
• is responsible for arranging and carrying out pedagogical activities and processes in accordance with the law.
• at the same time must be able to collaborate with and instruct, guide and inspire pedagogical assistants and students in pedagogical work, ethics and norms.
• can work in collegial teams and have knowledge of teambuilding techniques and group dynamics.
• is particularly interested in and knowledgeable about nature as a residence and learning environment.
• can work independently and lead in the pedagogical work.

The work is in the 0-2 year age group.

The Romalt Kindergarten is located close to nature/forest, town and cultural offerings in Romalt. We are a combined kindergarten spread across 2 sites with a total of 54 nursery places and 125 preschool places.

We want to strengthen the department's profile toward more inclusion and interaction with the nature that surrounds us. We are therefore looking for a person who wants to be a co-creator of a fantastic children's environment and children's life, where outdoor life is prioritized and where extended collaboration across sites can be seen as a resource.

We would like you to be known for a keen eye for high quality in the core task. We value a healthy work community and collaboration across the nursery and kindergarten and are focused on a good and healthy childhood in a safe and caring environment. The house radiates a good and energetic atmosphere with happy children and adults.
