About the job

By Christmas we will be about 80 children aged 0-6 years. We are 8 pedagogues and seven teaching assistants as well as a pedagogical leader, a department head and an institution head. We are growing all the time and becoming a large day care with many children and staff – therefore we need one more pedagogue.

We have the most fantastic surroundings both indoors and outdoors.

Our children are wonderful, and the parent group supports and is engaged in the children's daily life. They actively participate in the arrangements planned in the Children’s House.

It is important that you are an empathetic and present person who can guide, mentalize and have a mindset that gives the children the best framework for learning, development and formation.

You “dare to let loose” and lead in the playful approach in everyday life.

You are professionally well-founded and can work with Sprogtrappen (Language Stair) and with the themes in KIDS. We also work systematically with sensory integration, which you may have knowledge of. You will always have a mentor and support in the professional work. This year we are working with “from soil to table” and have just received a lovely orangery that the children can romp in.

You have a focus on following the children's perspectives and where well-being is essential. Your time is primarily spent in dialogue with the children and guiding them toward self-reliance, with a focus on their participation in everyday routines and in communities.

You are passionate about and involve imagination, creativity, nature and song/music in your pedagogical approach to the children.

You may not possess all the expected competencies, but here you will receive support from colleagues – so please send your application.

About us

The day institution, normed for 110-120 children, is located in Torvegade in Give and has just been renovated with lovely group rooms, inspiring play- and learning environments, and fantastic staff facilities.

As the institution is new, both physical spaces, pedagogical content, overall structure, and organization and layout will continue to develop in close cooperation with the entire staff group.

We are “one house” and help each other across child groups, tasks and activities. This means that we all contribute to the community and are accessible to the children – where we together ensure the children's well-being every day.

The staff group consists of both experienced and newer pedagogues as well as teaching assistants. Common to all is a high professional commitment, strong social skills and great care for both children and colleagues. We have an informal tone and a clear joy of work, which positively influences both the working environment and the children's well-being.

With us you become part of a staff group with a lot of drive, who are curious, adaptable and open to new ideas. We work with humor and heart, and we are passionate about making a difference for the children in our institution.

Information about starting salary

Employment takes place according to the collective agreement for pedagogues at day care institutions, school after-school programs, clubs, etc., §§4-9. The expected starting salary for full-time and excluding pension is 32,511 DKK / sits in the interval 32,511 DKK to 37,458 DKK depending on seniority. It is noted that final placement, including collective agreement basis and salary level, is determined based on your education and qualifications and the specific offered position.
