Educator for Parkskolen's after-school program

We are looking for an engaged educator for Parkskolen's SFO at 25 hours per week with shared duty.

Are you passionate about children's well-being, development and communities? Do you want to create a daily life where play, body and movement go hand in hand with good relationships and meaningful communities?

Our pedagogical everyday life

In our SFO we want to create a safe and inspiring leisure environment, where children experience the joy of being part of a community. We believe that good relationships and positive communities are crucial for children's well-being and development.

We work to ensure that all children feel seen, heard and meaningful. This is achieved by creating frameworks for play, immersion, creativity and activities, where children get the opportunity to develop friendships, learn from each other and experience that they have something valuable to contribute.

We see play and movement as natural parts of children's leisure life and as opportunities to strengthen relationships, cooperation and the sense of belonging. At the same time we are focused on creating participation opportunities for all children.

We therefore seek an educator who

• Is present and relationship-capable, and meets children with recognition, curiosity and respect
• Has an eye for the individual child's well-being and for the importance of the community.
• Can support inclusive communities, where the children feel they belong.
• Wants to initiate activities where body and movement create joy and togetherness.
• Is curious about children's perspectives and interests, and involve them in everyday activities.
• Contributes to good collegial cooperation and to the shared pedagogical practice.
• Wants to work with children in school age and our preschool children.

Salary and terms of employment

It is a 25-hour position. Salary according to applicable collective agreement. A child and criminal background check will be obtained upon employment.
