Educator for Raklev Preschool

Raklev Kindergarten, Early Childhood Education and Care Area North, is seeking a dedicated educator for full-time.

Raklev Kindergarten is a functionally organized institution with age-separated groups and 72 kindergarten children. With us you will become part of a professionally strong and humorous community with good opportunities to influence both the pedagogical practice and daily organization.

We work with a basis in the strengthened pedagogical curriculum, where children’s wellbeing, development, learning and participation in communities are the central focus. The pedagogical work is organized in teams around the child groups, and the teams share a common responsibility to create developing learning environments. At the same time, we prioritise knowledge sharing and professional sparring across the house.

We expect that you

• Are a trained educator with a strong professional foundation and experience with children aged 3-6 years.
• Create safe and present relationships to children, parents and colleagues through recognition, joy and engagement.
• Are focused on children’s relationship formation, participation in communities and the child’s perspective.
• Work in a structured and responsible way and can translate the strengthened pedagogical curriculum into meaningful learning environments.
• Can plan, implement and evaluate pedagogical activities that support children’s wellbeing, learning and development.
• Follows children’s initiatives and contributes to inclusive and developmental child communities.
• Actively contribute to documentation, reflection and the ongoing development of the pedagogical quality.

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and employment terms in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. If you have under 6 years of experience as an educator, the starting salary in Kalundborg Municipality is at salary step 29, cf. the pre-agreement where we upfront grant 3 steps based on your basic education. The salary steps disappear when the central steps for 6 years of employment are reached. The position is 37 hours per week.
