Educators sought for Nørrevang (30-37 hours)

Can you work independently and responsibly and maintain an overview in sometimes pressurized situations, then you are definitely the one we are missing at Nørrevang.

In the residential facility there are 27 residents with physical and mental functional limitations, all of whom require social-pedagogical and health care interventions, continuous psychological support, guidance as well as care and nursing. In addition, Nørrevang is a respite care offering.

We are looking for an engaged, positive and action-oriented colleague who thrives in alternating between working in a structured way so that the residents experience predictability and safety and who at the same time can be flexible, with a professional curiosity that challenges and supports the professional work community.

Together with the residents we create frameworks for a well-functioning everyday life with a focus on wellbeing, safety and activity. The residents have, among other things, a need for help with personal care, practical tasks and activities as well as support for communicative, social and psychological challenges.

You will be assigned to one team in the house, but you will primarily have workdays where you follow a resident who needs 1:1 support. There is a need for you to create safety and security through structure and clear boundaries. Relationship building is important. There is a need for clear communication, humor and a good and strong contact.

• is a qualified pedagogue.

• is aware that the resident needs you and is therefore dependable in attendance.
• actively engages in professional sparring and can keep a focus on the ball.
• sees the practical tasks as part of the daily effort.
• has an overview, can prioritise and demonstrate initiative.
• has an overview, knows and accepts own boundaries.

You must be able to document professional interventions in writing, both for internal and external partners. Familiarity with documentation in Nexus is an advantage, but not a condition for employment.

At Nørrevang there is 24-hour coverage with fixed night shifts. The position involves rotating working hours within the period from 7:00 to 23:00 and you should expect to work every 2nd weekend. Hours are negotiable.
