About the job and the tasks

We are experiencing an increasing demand from families for our daycare, therefore we are now seeking three pedagogues. One for the baby unit and two for the kindergarten, of which one is a maternity leave cover.

The positions are 32-37 hours.

Employment from December 1, 2026.

Our expectations of you

You are a trained pedagogue, and are focused on the childrenine perspectives and can follow their cues. You want to help shape a daycare where we dont just do as we usually do, but are constantly curious whether we can do something better.

You can slow down the pace and create contact. You can justify your pedagogical choices, share your observations and help investigate what works - even when the answer isnt obvious.

You see childrenehavior as communication, and you become curious about what the child tells us that we may need to do differently. You work relationally, and are curious about what you yourself bring into the relationship with children. You can create safe and clear boundaries, where you are actively participating and making yourself available to the children. You have good energy, preferably laced with a healthy dose of humor, and you want to contribute to a working community where we take our professionalism seriously and have fun together.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment according to the applicable collective agreement, with the possibility to negotiate qualification- and function-based pay.

A background check for working with children will be obtained.

Børnehuset Østerled is a day-care offering consisting of an engaged staff group and leadership, who every day work to create safe, developing and present environments for all children. We are different as people but share a professional approach, where relationships, play and secure child communities are at the center.

We are a house in development, and have reorganized ourselves with new learning environments, colors that support the calm children need in the nervous system, curiosity about what children call for and not least professional and personal development.

Our outdoor environments and spaces in outdoor areas make it possible to stay outside in all kinds of weather. The spaces both inside and outside allow for physical activity, high and low. There is a motor room in several places in the house. In addition, we have quiet areas where we engage in quiet activities and create calm in the nervous system.
