We are looking for the last two pedagogues for a newly established language and resource corps

In Vallensbæk Municipality we are committed to creating conditions for a developing children's and youth life, where all children can thrive and have a balanced life. Therefore, it has been politically decided that in the day care area a language and resource corps shall be established with six resource pedagogues who can support day care, nurseries and kindergartens in creating the best possible pedagogical learning environments where all children can thrive, learn and develop.

We have now hired four pedagogues for the corps, and are now missing the last two. Maybe it is you?

As a language and resource pedagogue you will be employed with reference to the head of day care services. Most of your working time will take place in the day care centers, where you will participate in the pedagogical everyday life and contribute to strengthening all children's well-being, learning and development.

We expect that you can contribute with

• develop and qualify the pedagogical practice
• translate knowledge into targeted actions for children with linguistic and special education challenges
• create appropriate disruptions by looking at practice with fresh eyes and asking the right questions
• contribute to anchoring the initiatives in the everyday pedagogical practice
• collaborate with management and the staff group on language development and participation opportunities for all children

In addition, we expect that you can work independently and be a role model in relation to the pedagogical practice. There may be evening meetings from time to time in the form of participation in day care centers’ staff meetings.

Educationally it is necessary that you have a pedagogical education and experience with the day care sector, and if you have knowledge and experience with language stimulation and/or children in vulnerable positions, it is a big plus.

Practical information

These are permanent positions of 37 hours. Salary and terms of employment according to the agreement with BUPL.
