Do you want to combine pedagogical work with coordination and help create coherence in daily life?

35 hours per week – 30 hours of pedagogical work and 5 hours of coordination.

At Højgården we are looking for an experienced and engaged educator who wants to be close to the children and at the same time take a special responsibility for supporting our shared pedagogical practice and the daily organization.

Højgården is a self-owned day-care institution in Gentofte Municipality with children aged 0–6 years. We place emphasis on presence, safe relationships, professional development, and a good collaboration between children, staff, parents and management.

Your role

You will become part of the daily pedagogical work and at the same time take a special role as a close collaboration partner for the overall leader.

You will help create an overview, coordinate tasks and ensure that professional agreements and joint decisions are followed up in practice. You will have an important role in supporting a coherent daily life, where we work together to create the best conditions for the children.

Your tasks will include, among others, to

• actively participate in the pedagogical work with the children.
• coordinate the preparation time of the trained pedagogical staff so that it is planned systematically and ties together with daily operations and the children's needs.
• coordinate schedules, meetings and practical tasks.
• prepare professional meetings and support follow-up on shared pedagogical agreements.
• contribute to professional sparring and good collaboration in the staff group.
• support coherence and progress in daily life, also when management is out of the building.
• assume an agreed deputy function during the management's vacation periods within clearly defined parameters.

The five coordination hours are fixed in the work plan, so there is time to carry out the tasks.

Who are you?

We are looking for an experienced educator who is both passionate about working with children and wants to take a special responsibility for the community and daily organization.

• can work independently within agreed frameworks and know when something needs to be clarified with the manager.

You do not need leadership experience, but you should want to take on a special responsibility and contribute to everyday life functioning well for both children and adults.
