Do you want to combine pedagogical work with coordination and help create coherence in everyday life?

35 hours per week – 30 hours pedagogical work and 5 hours coordination.

At Højgården we are looking for an experienced and engaged pedagogue who wants to be close to the children and at the same time take a special responsibility to support our shared pedagogical practice and the daily organization.

Højgården is a self-governing day-care institution in Gentofte Municipality with children aged 0–6 years. We place emphasis on presence, secure relationships, professional development and a good collaboration between children, staff, parents and management.

Your role

You will become part of the daily pedagogical work and also have a special role as a close collaborator for the overall leader.

You should help create an overview, coordinate tasks and ensure that professional agreements and mutual decisions are followed up in practice. You will play an important role in supporting a coherent everyday life, where we collaborate to create the best conditions for the children.

Your tasks will include

• actively participate in the pedagogical work with the children.
• coordinate the preparation time of the trained pedagogical staff so that it is planned systematically and tied to daily operations and the children's needs.
• coordinate schedules, meetings and practical tasks.
• prepare professional meetings and support follow-up on shared pedagogical agreements.
• contribute to professional sparring and good collaboration within the staff group.
• support coherence and progress in everyday life, even when management is out of the office.
• fulfill an agreed deputy function during the leadership's vacation periods within clearly defined boundaries.

The five coordination hours are fixed in the work plan, so there is time to solve the tasks.

Who are you?

We are looking for an experienced pedagogue who is passionate about working with the children and who is keen to take on a special responsibility for the community and daily organization.

• have an organizational overview and can create structure.
• take initiative, follow up and see tasks through to completion.
• are a good collaborative partner who communicates clearly and respectfully.
• can work independently within agreed frameworks and know when something should be clarified with the manager.

You do not need managerial experience, but you should be willing to take on a special responsibility and contribute to everyday life functioning well for both children and adults.
