30 skilled pedagogical staff are seeking a pedagogical leader, 118 happy children and families the same, and Astrid is still looking for a partner – who is passionate about shared leadership and who will be the primary leader for four kindergarten groups.

Astrid says about her new partner that it would be nice to have a leader who wears the yes-cap, has some experience, a good sense of humor, and who is open to thinking big and realistic. In the shared management task you will work together purposefully on the joint competence development of all staff. A leader is needed who finds it exciting to be close to practice and who sees professional sparring and follow-up as a core leadership task. At the same time, you should also be able to juggle numbers and feel that the administrative task portfolio also provides energy and job satisfaction.

Nature and outdoor life is our profile, and the aim for the pedagogical practice is that it should be centered around nature and sustainability. One of your leadership tasks will therefore be to ensure a continuous focus on making the profile flourish and develop.

In close collaboration with Astrid, you will engage in professional leadership close to practice and ensure that good professional development continues – of course with a high degree of involvement of the employees, who are still hungry for professional knowledge and development – and who are especially happy with their workplace.

Børnehuset 8TALLET is on a professional development plan and has over the past year shown a steep development curve in relation to pedagogical professional quality, which the recently completed inspection also confirms with great satisfaction for everyone. An important task is to maintain and support the continued positive development – at a reasonable pace, so no one loses their breath.

You will share leadership and staff responsibility in 8TALLET, and you have Astrid, your colleague, right by your side. Astrid knows the house, the cluster and the structure. In addition, we have a large and strong leadership community of 14 leaders in the cluster with weekly meetings where we spar, allocate responsibility tasks and focus on the joint professional development. You will also have ongoing conversations with one of our two cluster leaders, so you get off to a good start and receive the sparring and support you need.

You should know that we may have the city's best staffing norm, as we have 10 children in our nursery groups and 18 children in our kindergarten groups. In addition, we are in the process of a major renovation, so if you have knowledge of and enjoy being part of a remodeling project, then we also have a task for you here.

Our wishes for you

We would like you to have experience with personnel management and perhaps have leadership experience with driving development tasks – from the good idea to implemented practice in the groups. If you also have experience with professional development plans, that is an extra plus.

You must be able to put the staff's competencies and special abilities into play. Our staff have different roles, so you must motivate, inspire, delegate and actively work with involvement.

You must be sharp about the professional and regularly be on the groups so you know what is happening, and you must know and thrive with the administrative tasks, which are also part of the position. If you have knowledge of Copenhagen Municipality's systems, that is a thumbs up.

Børnehuset 8TALLET has children and parents from all over the world and is culturally diverse. In the cluster our families speak 82 different languages – so cultural openness and understanding is a necessity.

Employment terms

Salary and terms of employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. The position is 37 hours per week starting 1 January 2027 – or as agreed
