About the job
Re-advertisement
Small autism residential care with a focus on well-being – especially through professional expertise.
Would you like to join?
We are seeking 2-3 new colleagues for our residential care home, preferably with experience in pedagogical work and who want to be part of a professionally strong community.
You do not need to have a specific education to be considered. We primarily look at your experiences, your personal competences and your ability to create safe and positive relations. If you have curiosity, commitment and a desire to develop yourself, we would like to hear from you.
We need new colleagues who want to help provide the residents who live here with a safe and development-oriented life.
The residents are 6 people, all with autism diagnosis and developmental disability . All 6 residents are adults with a low cognitive development age. The residents can be self-harming/reactive.
They all need 1:1 support during most of their waking hours, as well as a staff member to support them in most of a person’s basic needs.
We focus on the residents’ well-being and on adapting to the demands when the situation calls for it. We work with LA2U – and have well-being – and safety plans for all 6 residents.
We are a stable staff group that has worked together for many years and we will warmly welcome you.
You must be able to work independently with the resident (after thorough introduction) – and you must enjoy collaboration with residents, colleagues and relatives.
Our wish for our new upcoming colleagues is that you radiate calm and joy, and that you value meeting the residents with an appreciative approach.
You should preferably be curious and willing to try new possibilities.
You must be comfortable with IT – and have experience in documentation.
We offer you
- collegial support and close colleagues in the team.
- professional development
- the position is 37 hours per week – but if a full-time position isn’t right for you, we are happy to discuss weekly hours.
We will do a lot to ensure you can both prioritize a well-functioning private life and a work life focused on well-being and stability.
Our schedule runs on a 4-week cycle and starts over. We work in the hours 07:00-23:00, with work every other weekend. If you would prefer to work every 3rd weekend, we will figure it out as well.
We look forward to hearing from you!
