The Ridemandsmøllevej Daycare is seeking a pedagogical assistant or assistant for 37 hours per week from 1 November 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The Ridemandsmøllevej Daycare is normed for 40 children and is located in the small local community Godthåb, about 13 km southwest of Aalborg.

In our daily work we have a special focus on creating security, presence and predictability for all children. We are committed to ensuring that everyone feels part of a community, as this strengthens the child’s self-perception, self-worth and self-confidence. We value being outdoors in nature, as it inspires and stimulates children’s senses.

With a combined focus on secure communities and nature, we manage to create learning environments for the children where they are amazed and motivated to explore nature together with other meaningful children and adults.

In our daily work we focus on

• To support children's play and see the space as the third educator.
• To give children co-determination – child perspective.

• To work with the core principles from ICDP and NEST and weave the strengthened curricula into the day.

The position is covered by local pay. Other terms of employment according to the applicable agreement between KL and FOA. Prior to final employment, criminal and child protection checks will be obtained.
