About the job

At Børnegården Uhrhøj we are currently looking for pedagogical assistants, as we are undergoing a restructuring. As a pedagogical assistant and floating worker you will engage in relationships with many children but be linked to a specific group. You are an important part of the children’s daily life and, in collaboration with the educators, you are daily involved in creating developmental opportunities for the children in our institution.

In the kindergarten we carry out activities in smaller groups on a daily basis, and you as a pedagogical assistant must also be able to take the initiative for these. In addition, play, repetitions and daily routines occupy a large part. You must be able to see the meaningfulness in participating in the children’s play, both indoors and outdoors, and you must be prepared to change diapers and to grab a mop or a cloth.

About us

Børnegården Uhrhøj is a large institution with four nursery groups, four kindergarten groups and a house for the oldest children, located at a different address on Uhrhøj. Collectively we are licensed for 48 nursery children and 125 kindergarten children. The staff team consists of employees with both short and long work experience, with ages ranging widely.

In daily life we help each other during holidays, illness and meetings, and this means that we continuously develop knowledge of each other’s work.

Terms of employment

Start date 1 November 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Information about starting salary

Employment is in accordance with the agreement for pedagogical assistants and teaching assistants, sections 4-7 on salary setting. The expected starting salary for full-time, excluding pension, is 25,575 DKK / lies in the range 25,575 to 29,312 DKK depending on seniority. Note that final placement, including the collective agreement basis and salary level, is determined based on your education and qualifications and the specific offered position.
