Park & Vej is looking for a dedicated and versatile asphalt worker

Do you want to help maintain and develop Allerød Municipality's roads, paths and other traffic areas? Park & Vej seeks a versatile and engaged employee for our asphalt and signage team with start as soon as possible.

There is a full-time position of 37 hours per week. We expect start no later than 1 December 2026. Working hours are between 7.00 - 15.30 Monday – Thursday and 7.00 - 12.00 Friday.

About the job

We have a broad portfolio of tasks and our operations tasks are managed via different digital platforms.

This involves manual laying of asphalt for smaller tasks and tasks related to setting up and maintaining road signs. In addition you will, among other things, have the following tasks

• Operation of accompanying machines and tools for small repairs
• Smaller paving tasks, road markings and supervision
• Replacement and repair of road manholes, gratings and covers, and more
• Other miscellaneous work within the operations area
• Winter service in the on-call period (currently 15 November to 15 March) – i.e., you are available according to a shift schedule in the period

Tasks vary with the seasons, weather conditions and current needs. It is therefore important that you enjoy a versatile workday where tasks can change from day to day, and where there can sometimes be a need for quick action. We promise, in return, a fun and varied everyday life.

About you

Our future colleague can come from different backgrounds, but we dream that you have experience within road construction or operations and in addition:

• Has the relevant courses and certificates for asphalt laying
• Is flexible, dutiful and reliable
• You are good at collaborating, but can also independently prioritise and plan
• Minimum a Category B driving license. A BE license is an advantage

It is an advantage if you have experience in several of our work areas. We also value your practical understanding, your desire to learn new things and your ability to join the team.

About us

Park & Vej is an independent company in the Technical and Operations department in Allerød Municipality. We operate daily from the Material Yard in Lynge. Park & Vej generally handles the operation and maintenance of outdoor areas such as the municipality's roads, green areas, outdoor areas at schools and institutions as well as sports facilities.
