Parkvejens School seeks a trained pedagogue with competencies and interest in inclusion.

Parkvejens Skole is a workplace with resourceful staff who help create a good environment with a focus on openness and interest in each others work and readiness to ask critical questions about how tasks are solved.

At the school there are about 750 pupils. The school is two-streamed from 0–6th grade, after which we in 7th–9th grade have 3–4 streams, as we receive pupils from our catchment schools. In addition, the school has a department with 10th grade.

The school also has a sequence of special classes and reception classes with bilingual pupils.

We are committed to our pupils being actively learning and have a focus on student-centered learning – we must have the learner at the centre as well as the pupil’s progression.

In line with other schools, we work broadly with the inclusion task, and we have skilled people in the supporting functions, to the benefit and help for both pupils and staff.

We are approximately 140 pedagogical staff and we work with knowledge sharing, goal setting, planning and evaluation in teams and there are scheduled weekly meetings in both class teams and with SFO.

In Parkvejens School's SFO we are pupils from 0th to 3rd grade. There are about 145 children enrolled in the general part.

We are pedagogues/assistants employed in the general part, as well as a permanent student pedagogue in 2nd internship.

In SFO there is additionally a coordinator attached. She helps, among other things, to create the common thread at the weekly SFO meetings.

The primary task is that the children experience a daily life characterized by safety, joy and engagement.

All adults are role models and thus norm-setting for how children relate to each other.

Our approach is that "children do what they can - it is the professionals who can do something else". We want it to happen through respect, trust, tolerance and humor.

As a pedagogue at Parkvejens School, you are both a pedagogue in the classes, and help run our SFO, both in the afternoon and as morning opener.

The positions are in our currently 3rd grades, but we continuously work to adapt to the tasks at the school and shift the focus according to the tasks. For the next school year, it would be likely that you would help to start new 0th grade classes.
