Parkvejens School is looking for qualified pedagogues with competencies and an interest in inclusion.

Parkvejens School is a workplace with resourceful staff who help create a good environment with a focus on openness and an interest in each other's work and a readiness to ask critical questions about how tasks are solved.

The school has about 750 students. The school operates two tracks from 0th to 6th grade, after which in 7th–9th grade we have 3–4 streams since we receive students from our catchment schools. In addition, the school has a department with 10th grade.

The school also has a series of special classes as well as reception classes with bilingual students.

We are committed to our students being actively learning and have a focus on learner-centered learning – we aim to place the learner at the center as well as the student's progression.

In line with other schools, we work broadly with the inclusion task, and we have skilled people in the supporting functions, to the benefit and help for both students and staff.

We are about 140 educational staff and we work with knowledge sharing, goal setting, planning and evaluation in teams and there are fixed weekly meetings in both class teams and with SFO.

In Parkvejens School's SFO we are serving pupils from 0.-3. grade. There are about 145 children enrolled in the general part.

We employ pedagogues/assistants in the general part, as well as a fixed pedagogy student in the 2nd practicum.

In SFO one there is additionally a coordinator attached. She helps, among other things, to create the common thread at the weekly SFO meetings.

The primary task is for the children to experience a daily life characterized by safety, joy and engagement.

All adults are role models and thus norm-setting for how children relate to each other.

Our approach is that “children do what they can - it is the professionals who can do something else.” We want this to happen through respect, trust, tolerance and humor.

As a pedagogue at Parkvejens School, you are both a classroom pedagogue and help run our SFO, both in the afternoon and as the morning opener.

The positions are currently in our 3rd grade, but we are continuously adapting to the tasks at the school and shifting focus according to the tasks. For the next school year it would be likely that you would help to start new 0th grades.

If you have competencies and a desire to help develop our SFO pedagogically in collaboration with our SFO coordinator, we would be very interested in that as well.
