About the job

Are you structured and have a good understanding of bookkeeping? Do you enjoy being able to go into the weekend knowing the numbers add up? Then you might be our new accounting assistant.

DinnerBooking is a Danish-owned IT-based company that delivers a market-leading online booking system for restaurants across the Nordics and several countries in Europe.

DinnerBooking's primary task is to provide guests with inspiration and easy access to restaurants through our digital platform, while delivering the most value-creating booking system for restaurant operators.

Your role

We are looking for a colleague for our bookkeeping, who will touch a broad palette of accounting tasks and have the opportunity to take on a lot of responsibility. Therefore it's also an advantage if you know your limits and speak up if you encounter a challenge you cannot solve yourself. Here we prioritize lifting as a team and helping each other so we get the tasks completed.

Your tasks

  • Accounts receivable and handling, including dunning procedures, ensuring follow-up on customer payments and correspondence regarding intercompany balances
  • Financial accounting
  • Invoicing and handling of orders
  • Handling of VAT and maintaining dialogue with public authorities
  • Reconciliation of various accounts
  • Payroll processing (only Danish salaries via Danløn)

We imagine that you

  • Have several years of experience with various tasks within bookkeeping
  • You master Danish and English in both written and spoken form
  • Are structured in your approach to tasks and able to meet deadlines
  • Navigates Excel with ease
  • Are curious and always interested in improving processes and quality

How you have obtained your experience is not central to the position, but we expect you to have a good basic understanding of numbers and bookkeeping.

We offer

An exciting role in a growing company where you will have plenty of responsibility and freedom. You will also be part of an office that currently consists of 35 dedicated employees from both Denmark, Estonia, England, Ukraine, Poland, Norway, Finland and Romania.

We are a social office with an informal tone, and where two days rarely are the same. We enjoy having a dialogue around the coffee machine, and twice a year we eat together at the DinnerDays restaurant festival, which we organize ourselves.

We offer a good lunch arrangement and an office located close to Amagerbro Metro.

Working hours : 12-16 hours with flexibility.

Salary : Salary negotiable according to qualifications.
