Part-time position as a caregiver for a disabled person in a private home

HEALTHCARE STAFF SOUGHT FOR PRIVATE HOME

To assist a sweet family with a 11-year-old boy with a disability in Sønderborg Municipality we are now seeking 1 new employee.

As an employee at Handicapkonsulenterne your task will be to step in and support the family by looking after the 11-year-old boy.

We are currently seeking an employee who wants to work with and be with a wonderful boy with cerebral palsy, and who wants to make a difference for the child and his family. We are looking for an employee who wishes to work about 10 hours per week.

The position is a part-time position and the hours are primarily during lunch, afternoon and evening hours. However, it is a big plus if you are flexible and can step in during illness or holidays in the other helper team or occasionally on weekends.

You must be ready to work in a private home under the guidance of the family. In terms of personal qualities it is important that you are present and caring as well as flexible. In addition you should be enthusiastic, enjoy working with children, be proactive and patient.

In principle we are seeking health-care educated staff, but if you have extensive experience within the disability sector and work with children, we would also very much like you to send an application and a CV.

You will of course receive training until you are ready to be work alone.

Start date is 1 November - with the possibility of training beforehand.
