Passionate nursery teachers for Børnehuset Cassiopeia – apply alone or with your favorite colleague

Do you dream of a toddler daycare day, where there is time for immersion, small groups and high professional quality? We are looking for two skilled pedagogues, and we look forward to hearing from you – whether you apply for the position alone, or if you want to bring a good colleague or study partner with you and apply as a team. You will have your fixed base in one room, but you will also be part of a close and strong collaboration with the neighboring room.

Who are we?

Børnehuset Cassiopeia is an integrated institution in Hvidovre, close to lovely green areas, the harbor/beach, sports stadium, etc. We love to utilize the many opportunities in the local area either on a walk, in our cargo bikes, or in our own mini bus. At Cassiopeia we have just renovated a large part of our playground so it is new and nice.

We have a small children's kitchen, a large bonfire area in the kindergarten playground which we can borrow, and we often use the local gym halls on the other side of the road. With us you become a professional collaborator who has a strong influence on your work with the children.

Focus on mentalization, nervous systems and secure participation opportunities

Are you passionate about emotional regulation, children's nervous systems and understanding the world from the child’s perspective? At Børnehuset Cassiopeia we have in recent years focused on the children's mental well-being. We place mentalization high and are strong in meeting the individual child, among other things through emotional regulation.

We work consistently with the children in small groups. It gives calm and bandwidth for the children, as well as more presence and immersion for you as a pedagogue. With us the quality of the relationship and the interaction between child and adult is the factor that has the greatest impact on the child’s development. Our goal is to create a safe and inclusive learning environment where there are meaningful participation opportunities for all children, regardless of their starting point.
