Pavers for Park and Road

About the job

You/you will become part of a paving team with 4 colleagues. Your tasks are mainly to realign/establish existing sidewalks to new ones. This could be, for example, before a new asphalt wearing course, where the curb stone also must be raised or replaced. You will also have tasks with maintenance and new constructions, among others in Skive's pedestrian street's beautiful granite stones and on the Big Blue bike path, where the paving is laid in brick pavers.

In the winter period from October 15 – April 15 you/you will become part of the winter service with anti-icing and snow removal of paths and roads in Skive Municipality.

Who are we?

Park & Vej creates the framework for Skive municipality's citizens and guests to have green urban-adjacent areas where the care of nature is aligned to the area's use and biodiversity. We create safety and accessibility for pedestrians, cyclists and motorists on roads and paths in both summer and winter.

Our workshop is an important piece in all tasks - our machines and equipment are crucial for safe operation and in the ongoing green transition of Park & Vej to the benefit of both the climate and the working environment. We solve our tasks starting from Gyrovej 5, Skive. We have a high degree of openness and are characterized by openness, freedom with responsibility, engagement and a good working environment.

You/you have

• Experience within the paving trade
• Ability to plan one\'s own work and to manage several tasks at once
• Ability to work both independently and with others
• A positive attitude, flexible and engaged
• Driver\'s license at least category B and preferably BE/C
