About the job
Payroll Consultant for Beierholm Outsourcing
Do you want to combine strong payroll expertise with client contact, advisory and development?
We are seeking an experienced payroll consultant for one of our offices in Kolding, Haderslev, Vejle or Fredericia. Your core task will be payroll administration and payroll-related advisory for small and medium-sized enterprises. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to bring other competencies into play if you are interested in bookkeeping, financial management, digitization or broader client advisory.
Part of a larger outsourcing team
You will be part of Beierholm's outsourcing team, which consists of about 20 colleagues at our offices in Haderslev, Kolding, Vejle and Fredericia. We help small and medium-sized businesses with, among other things, bookkeeping, payroll administration, financial management, CFO services as well as advisory and sparring on business development.
Although your base will be at one of the four offices in either Kolding, Haderslev, Vejle or Fredericia, you will be part of a professional community across the four offices. You will have colleagues to brainstorm with, the possibility of professional specialization and access to Beierholm's specialists in, for example, tax, VAT, digitization and sustainability, when client needs call for it.
Your role as a payroll consultant
You will take responsibility for a portfolio of payroll clients and become a trusted partner for the clients. The role is not solely about executing payroll runs. You must also create an overview, ensure quality and deadlines, and professionally advise clients on payroll-related questions and good working practices.
Your primary tasks
- Manage payroll administration for small and medium-sized enterprises, including ensuring correct and timely payroll.
- Handle employee onboarding and terminations, vacations, pensions, reimbursements, fringe benefits and other payroll data.
- Carry out reconciliation and reporting to e- income as well as relevant authorities and schemes.
- Advise and support clients on payroll-related questions, collective agreements and practical processes.
- Plan and coordinate payroll tasks so agreements and deadlines are met.
- Contribute to quality assurance, standardized workflows and ongoing digitization of payroll processes.
- Collaborate with colleagues and specialists when a client assignment extends beyond the payroll area.
We imagine that you
- Have several years of practical experience with payroll administration and can take independent responsibility for payroll runs.
- Have experience with e-income, payroll reconciliations and relevant submissions.
- Have knowledge of several collective agreements and can translate rules into correct, practical payroll handling.
- Have worked in one or more payroll systems and are curious about digital solutions and automation.
- Work in a structured, quality-conscious and secure manner with confidential information.
- Communicate clearly and in a friendly manner and thrive with direct client contact.
- Preferably have additional experience within finance, bookkeeping or advisory, but this is not a requirement.
Room for both professionalism and a life in balance
At Beierholm we have ambitions on behalf of both our clients and our employees. You will get freedom with responsibility, opportunities for professional development and a strong collegial community. We emphasize flexibility and that work life should be able to balance with life outside of work.
