Pedagogical assistant for an exciting and different day care center

We are looking for a committed and proactive pedagogical assistant for our fully integrated institution. The position is 37 hours or less, with start on 1 November.

Who are you?

Are you our new pedagogical assistant who loves to sing, dance and move with the children and are you passionate about creating a fun and active everyday life for children aged 0-6 years, then it might be you we are looking for.

You are strong in relationship work with children and parents, and you can initiate play, and you are focused on following the children's initiatives. You are curious, open, flexible and loyal in relation to agreements.

You meet the children with patience, presence and an affirmative approach.

You help create a safe and present everyday life, where all children feel seen and met.

You enjoy being creative and being on the playground or on trips in the area in all kinds of weather.

You are interested in joining a staff group with close collaboration as well as lots of fun and mischief.

Who are we?

Birkely is an integrated 0-6 years day care institution, with 3 fully integrated rooms with about 13 kindergarten children and 7 toddlers in each room, as well as a special group with 6 children with specific disabilities and challenges.

The children stay in the same room throughout their time at Birkely. This provides fantastic knowledge of the child and a good and close parent collaboration, which we place great emphasis on!

We are open, engaged and work with a high professional standard and a particular attention to every child's well-being, development, learning and formation. We are focused on creating a culture where the child can develop at their own pace and participate in committed communities where the focus is not on becoming something, but on being and becoming someone – together with others.

You will become part of a staff group with great diversity and engagement, which focuses on collaboration and development with the children at the center.

We are an ICDP-certified institution, where we are all trained in ICDP.

Birkely is located in a nature-rich area in Vallensbæk Nord, just 10 minutes’ walk from public transport.

The available position is in Troldestuen, which is a general room to which there are attached 2 pedagogues and 2 aides, of which you could become one.

Salary and employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. (FOA)

When employed, there will be a criminal records and child protection clearance obtained.
