Pedagogical Assistant for Students

Odsherred Municipality is seeking Pedagogical Assistant Trainees with a start in January 2027.

If you are considering qualifying for pedagogical work with children, youths or adults, you might be one of our upcoming pedagogical assistant trainees.

The program lasts 2 years and 1.5 months and consists of school and internship periods. The school periods take place at SOSU School and the internship periods will take place in the nursery, in day-care centers and in 24-hour institutions.

After completing the education you will be able to apply for jobs within pedagogical work in the nursery, in day-care centers and in 24-hour institutions. You can also apply for admission to the pedagogical studies.

Wages are paid during the education. If you are over 25 years old and can document relevant work experience you have the possibility to receive an adult apprentice wage.

You must attach documentation for basic course 2 for the pedagogical assistant. If you have not completed basic course 2 at the time of application you must attach documentation showing that you are in progress with the basic course. A child certificate will be obtained in connection with the employment.

Interviews for the trainee positions will take place in week 45
