Pedagogical assistant for the nursery at Kejlstruplund Daycare Center

Om jobbet As a pædagogmedhjælper (teaching assistant), you will participate in daily pedagogical work. You will become part of a well-functioning and engaged team, with two professionally experienced pedagogues. You should help work with the children's well-being, development and learning through community as well as play and movement. You should, together with the pedagogues, help support the planned activities and daily routines so that everyday life is recognizable for the children.

Dine primære opgaver vil være

• Participation and execution of activities with the children,
• Care and support for the children in their daily routines,
• Contribute to creating a safe and inclusive community for the children,
• To create presence and relationships with the children and their parents and
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a structured and positive everyday life for the children.

Om Børnehuset Kejlstruplund Børnehuset Kejlstruplund is a sports institution with a special focus on body and movement. Our pedagogical practice is inspired by the Nest pedagogy, where presence and strong children's communities are central elements. We work from a fundamental belief that all children are more alike than different, and that children always do their best. When it does not succeed for the child, it is the adults who must do something differently.

We adapt our approach to the individual child's needs and development and see it as a strength to be able to work differentiated and reflected. Our structure and planning of everyday life create space, calm and presence for both children and adults.

Børnehuset Kejlstruplund is a small, traditional institution, with room for 12 children in the nursery and two kindergarten rooms with space for 22 children. We are located close to nature – and we use it as often as we can – and we are close to public transportation.
