About the job The residential community Biskop Svanes vej is seeking a pedagogical part-time hourly-paid substitute in a residential facility for residents with cognitive challenges. We cannot guarantee fixed hours. You are paid hourly.

You are a replacement during the absence of the regular staff.

Your profile We are looking for a man or woman with experience with the target group and who want to work in a small shared living arrangement with happy residents but also residents with complex challenges. You must be able to manage personal hygiene - for some full assistance, for others guidance. You must be good at following the pedagogical and health-care goals that the individual resident has. You must be able to work independently, set boundaries, make decisions and be flexible with all tasks.

You must be able to document progress on the pedagogical/health-care subgoals. You can be a student, a retiree, or you can work within the pedagogical/health-care field. We will train you in the tasks. You will be offered a medical course.

Therefore choose us As a rule you will not have to be alone on the job; there will often be a colleague present. Working hours will fall within 07:30-20:00 every day of the week. Shifts are typically e.g., from 07:30-13:00 or 14:00-20:00. On weekends and holidays, however, often 11-hour shifts. They can be shared.

About us The residential facility at Biskop Svanes vej 63 is a service for 13 wonderful residents aged 30+ all with cognitive challenges, primarily developmental disabilities but with a number of health-related challenges. The residents are functionally very different. All have spoken language. The residents live in their own apartments and need pedagogical and health-care support to manage everyday life. All residents eat together in the common room, just as all, as able, help with quite ordinary daily tasks.

Everything residents can master themselves, is supported and developed there. We work to motivate the residents. We prioritise that residents have a daily life where joy, exercise and well-being are in the foreground. We go on walks or cycle in the local area. We have a car available.
