The staff at Tuborgvej desire a leader who is not only professionally strong but just as much structured. A leader who knows what a good working environment means so that the professionalism can be maintained and the child perspective is in focus. The staff would like, together with you, to revisit, among other things, views on children, what it means to work with diverse child communities at Tuborgvej and the organization and collaboration across the house. Openness and trust in the leadership role are the keywords for you as the new pedagogical leader.

About the position and the difficult, yet exciting balance

In a smaller childcare house like ours, the role as pedagogical leader is versatile. You must thrive with your feet firmly planted in the pedagogical practice and at the same time have the cool overview in the office. A large part of your wellbeing in the position depends on your ability to structure your time so that you can plan, have scheduled time in the rooms, while being a close professional sparring partner and an effective administrative leader.

Our wishes for you

You are a trained pedagogue and have experience with the leadership task. Whether you have experience as deputy head, team coordinator or something else is less important, as long as you have gained experience leading others.

We cannot avoid the fact that administrative tasks are also part of leadership, so you should have a desire and flair for the administrative tasks, including shift planning, resource management, vacation planning, documentation and implementation of municipal focus areas

We want a clear and appreciative leader who is passionate about the professionalism and who will work closely with practice, so the staff can see you and know which direction to go. You should lead in the work with diverse child communities and have good competencies and judgment in early intervention in the child group.

In the cluster we use KIDS as an observation method and as a common professional quality framework. As the pedagogical leader you will also observe with KIDS, so that you, based on concrete knowledge, can give the right sparring to the staff.

Børnehuset Tuborgvej is part of Cluster I in the area Inner City / Østerbro. As the pedagogical leader you become part of a leadership team of six leaders who support one another. We solve cross-cluster tasks in the cluster and provide each other with professional sparring on leadership dilemmas. We look forward to welcoming a new colleague who will contribute to the professional dialogue and well-being in the team.

One of the tasks you will be responsible for across the Cluster is to be the driving force for development and meetings with the Professional Beacons in the cluster's institutions.

About Børnehuset Tuborgvej

Børnehuset Tuborgvej is a charming smaller daycare with two infant groups and one preschool group and a group of staff, some of whom have been in the house for a long time and others recently employed. We are located in a charming old villa close to Eksperimentariet and Hellerup Station. We have a lovely garden, which is used as part of our pedagogical practice.

We have an engaged parents’ council that supports early childhood life at Tuborgvej and a combined parent group that sends happy children to the day care every day. The parents hope that you can motivate and inspire so that the good childhood life is maintained.

Of course, we will make sure you are well prepared for the task. One of your leader colleagues will become your mentor, and you will also have close collaboration with the cluster leader. We have a close collaboration with the pedagogical consultant and the support in the cluster, who will also help you get started on the task.

Salary and terms of employment

Salary according to current agreement with LFS. In connection with employment we collect extended references as well as criminal and child protection checks.
