About the job

Do you have the courage — together with a strong and egal leadership team — to blaze new trails to create an amazing school for all the children we have? Are you passionate about inclusion, and do you believe that the path to it lies in work with relationships, professional well-being, and didactic imagination? And are you keen to bring your humor and joy of work into play every single day?

At Trekløverskolen in Frederikssund Municipality we are seeking an educational leader who can help develop, set a clear direction for our resource center and preventive initiatives. With us you meet staff who are highly motivated and development-oriented – employees who genuinely wish to succeed in creating participation opportunities for all children.

A school on three sites – one common pedagogical focus

Trekløverskolen is distributed across three sites: two primary schools (grades 0-6) and a lower secondary school (grades 7-9). It requires a leader who can create visible leadership in everyday life, and who can ensure a coherent pedagogical thread across the entire organization. You must have the courage to navigate this structure and translate municipal strategies into meaningful practice for staff and teams.

The most important thing is that we get the right person who dares to take on these four core tasks

  • Staff management and capacity building You set the direction for our inclusion staff and mentors. Together with them you develop our pedagogical practice so that it supports and consults with our teams directly in the general environment as part of our long-term strategic development.
  • Bridge on the difficult child cases in a strong leadership partnership You maintain the pedagogical compass in complex cases. Here you work closely with the daily pedagogical leaders (who have the managerial responsibility for the teachers) and the SFO leader (who has staff responsibility for the SFO staff). Together you ensure that the difficult cases are resolved across the child’s day, and that you, in collaboration, help staff and parents develop, maintain and evaluate durable action plans. For you the difficult, concrete case is not just firefighting – it is here we seize the opportunity to learn and develop daily practice.
  • Coordination of cross-disciplinary collaboration You become the school's coordinator and bridge to our important external partners in PPR and the Family Department.
  • Absence efforts in the Program for Stronger Communities You lead and drive the school's attendance efforts and ensure that the shared municipal framework becomes a concrete reality at all three sites.

You will become part of a dynamic and equal leadership team

You join a leadership team that besides you consists of the principal, three pedagogical leaders, an SFO leader and an administrative leader. Inclusion at Trekløverskolen is not a solo project for the resource center; it is a team sport. Your successful work presupposes a close and coordinated collaboration with the pedagogical leaders and the SFO leader, so that your respective leadership responsibilities work well together in daily life.

With us we share strategic decisions – and we have each other’s backs. We have high ambitions, take our tasks very seriously, but do not take ourselves too seriously. Humor and joy are an important value in how we run school and leadership together.

We imagine that you

  • Have experience from the school world and are passionate about developing practice in close dialogue with staff, inclusion advisors and your leadership colleagues.
  • Believe that a school should be child-ready, and that inclusion succeeds through changed learning environments both during school and SFO time.
  • Stand firm in your professional judgment – also when a case is complex and has many stakeholders.
  • Are structured and systematic, so that agreements and action plans are always followed through.
