We are seeking someone who gets excited when talking about special education and learning, and the students are always the focus around which your leadership centers.

You create direction through dialogue and follow-up. You translate decisions into action, follow up on agreements, and support employees' professional development.

You are persistent in pedagogical leadership. You observe practice, provide sparring and ensure that joint decisions are translated into action in daily life.

Leadership experience is essential, or alternatively many years of experience as a coordinator or advisor, and preferably a leadership qualification at diploma level.

Jeksendalskolen is a special school in Skanderborg Municipality for students with extensive specific difficulties and specific and pervasive developmental disorders.

The school caters to students with ADHD, ASD, anxiety, school refusal, early trauma, behavioral difficulties, socio-emotional difficulties, etc.

There are currently 60 students and 40 staff at the school.

We are seeking a pedagogical leader who has particular responsibility for the early years and the school's after-school provision, but has an eye for the overall pedagogical development at the school.

Jeksendalskolen has two departments, and you will work together with the headteacher in a large role in maintaining a good collaborative culture among staff and across the school's two sites.

For the position, you must embrace both pedagogical leadership, staff management and administrative tasks in close collaboration with the school's other leadership.

The precise distribution of tasks and responsibilities is determined jointly in the leadership team, so that competencies and wishes are best utilized.
