This is the job for you , who are a student as a pedagogue, social worker, teacher or similar, and are looking for a flexible student job where you can develop yourself within special pedagogy. As an on-call substitute you will get the opportunity to test your theoretical knowledge and work practically to support and assist citizens with special needs.

As an on-call substitute at Habitus can you expect long shifts, which give you few working days, and thus high flexibility in your private and study life. At Skellebjerg it is typically 14-hour shifts (8 to 22) or 24-hour shifts (8 to 8), and may also include both waking night shifts and/or shorter day shifts.

We are especially looking for you who would like shifts on weekends or over the summer, and who are already willing to take on shifts with a citizen so you can begin to build a relationship with them.

Every day you will work together with colleagues who – like you – are passionate about helping those who are worst off. You can look forward to close collaboration in the fixed team around the citizen as well as with the rest of the house in daily sparring.

With us you get a high level of responsibility and the opportunity to take ownership of your tasks. You become an important part of the house with the possibility to make independent decisions. Sparring is also a natural part of everyday life, where we are curious about each other and our differences.

After completing your studies, we are of course also open to discussing permanent employment!

We expect that you have

• At least one year of your studies in pedagogy, social work or similar completed
• Either knowledge of or an interest in acquiring knowledge about autism and working with people with mental health challenges
• A flexible approach to working hours, including weekends
• A professionalism that allows you to remain calm even when the going gets tough
• A high degree of empathy, honesty, and willingness to take responsibility
• Experience with personal care – otherwise we will teach you
• Driver's license category B is an advantage
