Do you want to help make a difference for citizens who need 1:1 support during all waking hours as well as a wake night shift? And have you always dreamed of using your professional and personal competences in a workplace that focuses on actively creating safety and well-being for the citizens? About the offer

Rosenkildevej 61 and 77 are residential facilities with a total of 10 adult citizens distributed across 4 properties in Rosenkildeparken, which are located in scenic and calm surroundings on the outskirts of Slagelse. In the park there are many good opportunities for movement, presence and shared experiences as well as activities with the citizens.

The citizens live in their own apartments and need support in daily life, including personal care and handling of outwardly acting behaviour and self-harm.

The citizens benefit from structure, fixed routines and clear communication. They have limited language, but can clearly express what they want and certainly not what they do not want. They enjoy going on short trips in the area, which gives them the opportunity to explore the surroundings. With their humorous and playful side they bring life and joy into daily life, and therefore it is important that the staff meet the citizens with calm, presence and a willingness to be active on the citizens' terms.

Your main task is to create safety, structure and an environment where the citizens feel seen, heard and understood.

Educational approach

• we work systematically with Low Arousal, sensory profiles and individual 24-hour rhythm plans
• we use the professional system Nexus
• we work from a recovery-oriented approach.

You will be thoroughly trained by your professionally strong colleagues as well as our coordinator for professional interventions, who is certified in the Low Arousal method and is a power user in Nexus.

trained pedagogue or pedagogical assistant with heart in the right place

structured, responsible and reliable

appreciative, patient and reflective in your practice

prepared for onboarding with all citizens in the house

experience with the target group is an advantage

driving license B is a requirement.

• induction meetings up to 15 hours
• rotating working hours (day, evening and weekend every 2 weeks)
