This is for you , who are looking for a job where you can put your pedagogical skills to use and work dedicatedly to provide professional care for residents with special needs.

With us you become a central part of a team where you take ownership of your tasks. You become an important part of the house with the possibility to make independent decisions, but also brainstorm with your colleagues daily.

In your team you will follow an annual wheel/calendar that provides time for professional deepening of the pedagogical efforts as well as professional supervision. Your work is built around fixed daily structures, but you will nevertheless never experience that two days are the same.

It is an advantage that you

• Have a relevant pedagogical or health-related education – such as educator, pedagogical assistant, teacher, social worker, occupational and physiotherapist, SOSU assistant or nurse (must have an interest in the pedagogical field)
• Have knowledge of autism, TEACCH and working with people with complex developmental challenges
• Have a professional competence that enables you to maintain an overview and make decisions under pressure
• Have a high degree of empathy, honesty and be willing to take responsibility
• Have experience with personal care – otherwise we will teach you
• Have a Category B driving license

About HabitusHuset Vindly

We are a newly started pedagogical residential facility that provides the framework for residents with complex developmental challenges. The house is located in quiet, scenic areas of South Zealand close to Fakse Bugt and Præstø Fjord.

Each resident has their own apartment and shares common areas both indoors and outdoors, which creates opportunities for residents to socialize as much as they are able, to go out into nature and develop through the many sensory experiences they find there, and at the same time have the opportunity to withdraw when they need to find calm.

Although we are a new residential facility, we as part of Habitus already have a strong professionally founded pedagogical method, but it is also an opportunity for you to help create a new culture and build the right structures around our residents that best support them in their development

You can expect a changing everyday life, where the focus is both on professional and personal development. There are fixed teams around the residents, where we as a rule work with 1:1 staffing and 14-hour shifts.
