Pedagogical staff sought for Børsholt Husene in the northern Vendsyssel (Pedagogical staff and night shift)

We are looking for you with a pedagogical or health professional background to become a pedagogical staff member with long shifts (a mix of 24 and 14 hours) as well as a night shift (to start as soon as possible).

This is for you who are looking for a meaningful job where you can bring your pedagogical competencies into play and work devotedly to provide professional care for residents with special needs. On a daily basis you will work closely with colleagues who – like you – are passionate about helping those who are struggling the most.

With us you get a lot of responsibility and the opportunity to take ownership of your tasks. You will become an important part of the house with the possibility to make independent decisions. Collaboration and sparring are, however, a natural part of everyday life, where we are curious about each other and our differences.

In collaboration with your team you will follow an annual cycle that provides time for professional deepening of the pedagogical efforts as well as professional supervision. Your work is built around fixed daily structures, but you will still experience that two days are never the same.

We expect that you have

• A relevant pedagogical or health professional education – such as pedagogue, pedagogical assistant, teacher, social worker, occupational and physiotherapist, SOSU assistant or nurse (must have an interest in the pedagogical field)
• Knowledge of autism, TEACCH and working with people with mental health challenges
• A professionalism that allows you to remain calm even when the waves are high
• A high degree of empathy, honesty and willingness to take responsibility
• Experience with personal care – otherwise we will teach you
• Driving license category B
