About the job

Mosetoft - A place for you who want more than the ordinary

When Rasmus started at Mosetoft, he hardly imagined that 18 years later he would still be here. Today he is especially proud of the development he has helped create among the citizens – and of the colleagues who always step up when needed.

When you start at Mosetoft, you enter a daily life with citizens who have complex needs. It places demands on you as an employee. You must be able to create calm and predictability, stand firm in your professional stance, and at the same time be curious about whether there is another way.

Because at Mosetoft you have to dare to try something – and at the same time know why you are doing it.

Predictability is an important part of everyday life for the citizens. Therefore there is control of the details, clear agreements and a shared structure that we work by. This creates security for the citizens – and it also helps protect us employees.

For Maria, who has been at Mosetoft for 5 years, it is one of the things she is most proud of: to help create the predictability that the citizens need.

That means that you as a new employee must stay true to the common agreements. There is not necessarily an explanation for everything you can see from day one. But there is always a reason why we do what we do – and you will have the opportunity to ask, wonder and understand the professional thinking behind it.

You must dare to try something new

You must be able to use your colleagues, ask professional questions and be open to reflection. We work, among other things, with LA2U. For Rasmus and Thea, who have been with us for a year, the implementation of LA2U is an example of how professionalism continually develops and changes at Mosetoft.

You should not come with one solution for everyone

The citizens at Mosetoft are different, and therefore good solutions are not identical.

It requires that you can see the person in front of you and be curious about what works for that particular citizen. Sometimes it is about creating calm. Other times about trying something new. And sometimes development is a very small step, which may not be visible to anyone other than you and your colleagues. You must be able to be in that.

Collaboration

It is an important part of the culture at Mosetoft that we take care of each other. Maria describes it as a place with helpful colleagues where you can say you need help – and where you are met with reflection and professional questions.

It also means that we do not expect you as a new employee to know everything from day 1. You will receive a thorough introduction, on-the-job shadowing and an induction program.

Mosetoft is a professionally serious workplace. But everyday life doesn’t have to be serious all the time.

There is room for humor, laughter and togetherness across. The camaraderie among colleagues is highly regarded by the staff we have spoken to, and many point to the colleagues as an important reason they stay.

Thea describes Mosetoft as a fun, educational and secure workplace, where you are seen, heard and recognized.

And it is not only something we say. It expresses itself in daily life when a colleague asks how you are, when someone lends a hand, or when you together find a solution to something that is difficult.

Do you know what you’re getting into?

Mosetoft is not a place where all days are easy. We work with complex citizens, and some days demand more of you than others.

However, you will become part of a team that stands together when it gets tough. You will have the opportunity to make a difference over time and help create development, even when development comes in small steps.

Rasmus has been at Mosetoft for 18 years. He is still here because of the citizens, the professionalism, and the colleagues.

Can you see yourself in this? Do you have an educational background in pedagogy? Then perhaps you are the one we are looking for.
