At ActivCare we provide qualified temporary staff to residential facilities, housing services, institutions and special services across Southern Denmark. We continuously seek skilled employees who are passionate about making a difference for people with special needs.

About the tasks

Our shifts are primarily in the social and special needs sector, where you may encounter residents with:

• Intellectual disability
• Autism
• Acquired brain injury
• Other complex physical, mental or social challenges

The tasks vary from place to place, but can include

• Pedagogical support and care
• Structuring the residents’ daily lives
• Relationship work
• Practical help and accompaniment
• Documentation and professional follow-up in the documentation system Nexus

In addition, we cover shifts at secured institutions. For these tasks it is required that you have documented experience in the field and can demonstrate relevant teaching or courses in conflict resolution.

We expect that you

• Are trained as a pedagogue, a pedagogical assistant, or have relevant experience as a pedagogical aide
• Have a minimum of 9 months’ experience within the social or special needs sector
• Have experience with or can document professional documentation in Nexus
• Are responsible, stable and professionally engaged
• Can work independently while also engaging in interdisciplinary collaboration
• Have an appreciative view of people and a high professional level
