Since our residents have major challenges, they need predictability and stress reduction. You will therefore work purposefully with structures and clear methods to avoid inappropriate behavior by the resident and to create stability in everyday life.

We work in fixed teams, where we as a rule work with 1:1 or 2:1 staffing, and you can expect to participate in 14-hour onboarding shifts from 8 to 22. This gives you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the work around the individual resident and work targeted with the pedagogical strategies you have defined in collaboration with your team.

Since some of our residents need personal care and others do not, you may indicate your preferences so you know which residents you will be best suited for.

We expect that you have

• A relevant pedagogical or health care education – such as educator, pedagogical assistant, teacher, social worker, or SOSU assistant
• Knowledge of autism, TEACCH, and working with people with mental health challenges
• A professional competence that enables you to maintain an overview and make decisions under pressure
• A high degree of integrity, honesty, and willingness to take responsibility
• A desire for a workplace where two days are never the same
• Willingness to tackle complex professional tasks and develop your competencies in practice
• Driving license B
