About the job

At Trongård School we know that strong relationships make a difference. Therefore we are looking for a pedagogue for our full-time support role, who with professionalism, presence and clarity can support students with special needs in their school day.

We are looking for a colleague who can build trusting relationships, recognize each student's resources and contribute to more students experiencing themselves as an active part of the school's academic and social communities. You will be an important part of the work to support students with special needs in the early primary years and in the middle years. In close collaboration with teachers, parents, leadership and the school's resource persons, you will work to create safe, developing and inclusive learning environments, where all students have the opportunity to thrive and develop.

We are looking for a pedagogue who

  • Is academically well-founded and proficient in relationship-building.
  • Has experience with or an interest in working with children with special needs.
  • Can create structure, safety and predictability in the students' daily life.
  • Is flexible and thrives with a varied workday.
  • Communicates clearly and constructively with both parents, colleagues and partners.
  • Sees the value in multidisciplinary collaboration and joint solutions.

With us you get

  • Engaged students and parents.
  • Skilled, development-oriented and engaged colleagues.
  • Leadership with an open-door policy.
  • A school with a strong appetite for pedagogical development and room for new ideas.
  • Opportunity to make a concrete difference for children who need extra support in daily life.
  • A focus on inclusive communities and the supportive functions needed to create participation opportunities for all students.

At Trongård School we work on a trust-based basis and with a shared ambition to create the best conditions for both students and staff. We believe that good solutions are created in collaboration, and that a good working environment is a shared responsibility.
