Pedagogue or special educator for the nursery

We are seeking a trained pedagogue or special needs pedagogue for a permanent position, in a toddler group of 12 children and 4 adults. The number of hours and start time are not important to us, so we can discuss that.

Børnehuset Mimers Brønd is located in the Farum town centre, close to Farum City Centre and station. The house currently has on average 24 toddlers and 38 preschool children, with 18 staff members. We have a very high proportion of families in vulnerable positions, and multilingual children.

We are a house with many different cultures among both children and adults, and this enriches our everyday life in the finest way. For example, our multilingual staff provide security and calm when we receive families who do not yet speak Danish. We have close cooperation with all our families and see the whole family as part of our day care. This is shown, among other things, by the fact that we offer home visits to all families before they start.

The staff group mainly consists of a group of experienced employees, many of whom have been in the house for many years.

Care, presence, community and language

We place a high value on presence and care for each child, as we believe that it is in the secure relationship that we can support the child's well-being and development. We divide into small groups daily and enjoy going on trips with few children. The oldest toddlers visit, among other things, the local nursing home once a week.

As we see children as competent and experts in their own lives, we value their self-determination highly, which helps them participate actively in committed communities. In addition, we view play as fundamental to the child's formation, learning and development.

We always focus on the child's language development, as we believe that a nuanced language is important for good life opportunities.

We have a large, wonderful playground that challenges both motor skills and senses. Inside, we prioritize good inclusive learning environments. Here there are small and large communities, and everyone shares responsibility for keeping daily life cohesive, both on the individual room and in the house as a whole.

Preparation and sparring

As a pedagogue in Mimers Brønd you have 1 hour of preparation per week, and participate in about 8 annual staff meetings of 2 hours each; in addition, there are room and department meetings. In addition, we have two PPR pedagogues permanently in the house, and we have close sparring with speech therapy, psychologist, and others.

Salary and employment according to current collective agreement. We add a Furesø allowance on top of the collective agreement salary and an allowance for a high share of socio-economic background.
