About the job

Pedagogue sought for a residential community in green surroundings in Harlev

About the Job

We are a residential community with around-the-clock coverage for adults with intellectual disabilities, who have varying needs for pedagogical guidance and support.

The residential community consists of 20 apartments, as well as common areas.

We collaborate with the home care service, which provides all personal care and other health care. Some residents have cleaning assistance, while for other residents we attempt to support, with a pedagogical approach, to enable them to manage the cleaning themselves. The residents living here are granted support under § 85 of the Social Services Act and §105 of the Act on Public Housing.

We collaborate with the residents on a life of learning and life mastery, while ensuring safety and predictability. In interaction with the residents we work creatively and innovatively with the goals. The residents are among others involved in practical tasks in daily life, so that they achieve learning and life mastery in everyday life.

The pedagogical support is tailored individually to each resident.

Harlev Residential Community is a house where we as staff have worked together for a long time, therefore you will also experience the tone as informal. We strive to be involved together in major decisions in the house, while at the same time supporting independence. A large part of the residents are attached to employment – both internally and externally, here we work to support and develop individual skills based on the resident's motivation.
