Pedagogue with an interest in neuro-pedagogy is sought for the Rehabilitation Department at Lunden.

The Rehabilitation Department at Lunden is seeking as of December 1, 2026 a pedagogue for 37 hours per week. Working hours can be in the time window 6:45 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.

In principle, 20-23 weekends per year are worked, with the possibility to influence your own working hours.

Housing and Rehabilitation Center Lunden

Housing and Rehabilitation Center Lunden is a specialized offer aimed at people with an acquired brain injury as a result of illness or accident.

Rehabilitation Department

In the Rehabilitation Department, we offer stays for adults (17 years +) with an acquired brain injury who need intensive, targeted rehabilitation in safe and structured settings. We work from a neuropsychological/pedagogical approach and base our work on the individual person’s life history.

We work in multidisciplinary teams consisting of social and health care assistants (SSA), pedagogues, occupational and physiotherapists in collaboration with nurses, speech-language pathologists and psychologists.

We typically receive the citizen 2-4 months after the injury occurred, the task is therefore both to identify resources/limitations, rehabilitate and develop compensation strategies. The length of stay is typically between 2-5 months.

Collaboration with relatives is a large and completely natural part of the work.

We are looking for a pedagogue who is passionate about working with people with late brain injury, where the focus is on the relationship, on identifying the citizen’s resources, needs and development potential – and on creating a meaningful everyday life.

We are seeking a pedagogue with an interest in neuro-pedagogy. A pedagogue who can reflect on their own practice and has a desire to learn new things. You should be eager for professional and personal development.

You will be responsible for basic care tasks in collaboration with other professional groups with a focus on rehabilitation.

Employment Contract

As a result of the agreement on business transfer, employees from Varde Municipality will be transferred to Region of Southern Denmark as of January 1, 2027.

This means that in your employment you will be transferred to Region of Southern Denmark on January 1, 2027. Before then you will receive a new employment letter from Region of Southern Denmark. Upon transfer you will be transferred with your pay and terms of employment.
