The Rehabilitation Department at Lunden is seeking, as of December 1, 2026, a pedagog (educator) for 37 hours per week. The working hours may fall in the period 6:45 – 23:00.

In principle, 20-23 weekends per year, with the opportunity to influence your own working hours.

Bo and Rehabilitation Center Lunden

Bo- and rehabilitation center Lunden is a specialized offer targeted at people with an acquired brain injury, as a result of illness or accident.

Rehabilitation Department

In the Rehabilitation Department we offer stays for adults (17+) with an acquired brain injury who need intensive, targeted rehabilitation in safe and structured settings. We work from a neuropsychological/pedagogical approach and base it on the individual person’s life history.

We work in multidisciplinary teams consisting of Social and Health Care Assistants (SSA), pedagogues, occupational and physiotherapists in collaboration with a nurse, speech therapist and psychologist.

We typically receive the citizen 2-4 months after the injury occurred, so the task is both to identify resources/limitations, rehabilitate and develop compensatory strategies. Length of stay is typically between 2-5 months.

Collaboration with relatives is a large and completely natural part of the work.

We are looking for an educator with an interest in neuro-pedagogy. An educator who can reflect on their own practice and has a desire to learn new things. You should have a desire for professional and personal development.

You will be responsible for basic care tasks in collaboration with other professional groups with a focus on rehabilitation.

Employment contract

As a result of an agreement on business transfer, employees from Varde Municipality are transferred to Region of Southern Denmark as of January 1, 2027.

That means that you in your employment will be transferred to Region of Southern Denmark on January 1, 2027. Before then you will receive a new employment letter from Region of Southern Denmark. Upon the transfer you are transferred with your salary and terms of employment.
