Pedagogue with social-pedagogical experience sought for Club Ballerup's Grantoftens Fritidscenter

We are seeking a qualified pedagogue for 30-37 hours per week for an area in Ballerup where the social-pedagogical task is in focus. You will become part of a fantastic team with a special focus on our children and young people aged 10-18. Your working hours will mainly be in the period 10-17, as well as 1-2 evening shifts in the period 17-21:30. In addition there will be events and activities, as well as overnight stays outside opening hours, which you will be a part of. The position may also include tasks within the role of contact person under § 32 of the Children's Act.

Our upcoming colleague

• Is a trained pedagogue, preferably with experience in the special education field
• Sees the relational work and working with this particular age group as exciting. You must be open and welcoming and meet children and young people as well as their families with mutual respect
• Has the desire and interest to work narratively and with mentalization with the age group, so that you can support the youths’ opportunities to participate in communities, in line with Ballerup Municipality's Children and Young People Policy
• Has interest and knowledge of tasks within the creative workshop
• Has experience with conflict management/mediation
• Will to a certain extent be expected to participate in network meetings, coordination conferences etc. in close collaboration with the schools, the coordinator and the social worker. We have a well-functioning collaboration with the district's schools and therefore there will be limited tasks that extend into school hours
• Is proactive, can initiate pedagogical activities and handle tasks independently as well as in team collaboration with colleagues.

Who are we

Klub Ballerup's Grantoften leisure center department is a leisure facility located in Ballerup Municipality. We currently have 640 children and young people enrolled. The club has a building play area, two club departments, a youth club. In addition we have a special youth club department Mødestedet for sårbare unge (Meeting place for vulnerable youths) as well as a Motocross project. The primary place of employment is Grantoftens Fritidscenter.

Employment process and salary

The position is desired to be filled by 1 January 2027, or as soon as possible.

Interviews will be held in week 45.

The position is, as a rule, 37 hours and a permanent position.

We offer salary and employment terms according to the agreement for pedagogues in municipalities. Employment takes place according to the principles of local wage formation and after agreement with the negotiating organization.

The salary range for the position is DKK 35,990 – 43,193 per month excluding pension for full-time employment (37 hours per week).

The final salary is set after negotiation between the employer and the trade organization that has the bargaining rights in the relevant collective agreement area. The salary depends, among other things, on your education, documented seniority and qualifications.
