About the job
Are you passionate about recruitment and would you like to make a difference in one of Denmark's largest NGOs?
At PlanBørnefonden we work to give children and young people better opportunities to create the future they want. As a People & Culture Consultant you enter a versatile role where your primary responsibilities will be recruitment, onboarding and daily operations of tasks within People & Culture. You will also contribute to development projects that support the employees at PlanBørnefonden.
Your tasks will primarily consist of
- To drive the entire recruitment process - from drafting job advertisements to screening, interviews and offers to the right candidate
- To prepare contracts, agreements and other personnel/legal documents
- To ensure a good onboarding experience for new employees so they have a good start at PlanBørnefonden
- To contribute to cross-functional development projects in the team and in the organization
- To assist daily operations and maintain our HR system, including updating employee data and processes
- To contribute to continuous optimization of our HR processes and administrative routines
- Ad hoc tasks, including updating policies, preparing documents and presentations
You will also work with our wellbeing measurements and development conversations, including MUS, PULS, MTU/APV in collaboration with the team.
Who are you?
We imagine that you have a couple of years of experience or perhaps you are a recent graduate with relevant experience. We want you to have an educational background that gives you a good understanding of people and organizations. It is not decisive for us what education you come with if you recognise yourself in the following:
- You have an interest in people, recruitment and organizational development
- You have experience with recruitment and test feedback to candidates and leaders
- You are structured and have a natural sense of order - you can manage several processes and deadlines simultaneously
- You are good at communicating both in writing and orally, and you can engage in dialogue with applicants, managers and colleagues
- You work independently, are proactive in solving tasks and you are happy to propose improvements
- You have a good technical understanding and are comfortable working in systems (experience with HR systems is an advantage but not a requirement)
- You have basic knowledge of or an interest in learning about personnel law, e.g., employment contracts and the Holiday Act
- You handle confidential information with discretion and consideration
- You are motivated by working with a broad palette of tasks and are proactive and curious in your approach to your work
Since we have several international colleagues in the office and at Plan International, it is also important that you have strong English skills both written and spoken.

We work in the world's most fragile and vulnerable areas to safeguard the rights of children and young people and to create equal opportunities for all regardless of gender.
We are part of Plan International and are present in more than 80 countries. We collaborate with more than 36,000 local partners and civil society organizations to create a better future for children and young people.
Our work is funded through partnerships with foundations, companies, institutional donors and more than 40,000 Danes who support us regularly each month. Together we create long-term results in areas including education, employment, gender equality and humanitarian aid.
At our office in Copenhagen we are around 100 colleagues. We are an organization with high professionalism, short decision-making lines and a strong shared commitment to creating changes for children and young people in the world's most vulnerable countries.
