About the job
Would you like to be the strategic and proactive right-hand person for the climate, environment and technology mayor of Copenhagen?
The City Hall Secretariat of the Climate, Environment, and Technology Administration seeks a personal assistant (PA) who, in close collaboration with the secretariat and the rest of the organization, can ensure the very best support for the mayor.
As the top administrative leader of the administration and chair of the Climate, Environment and Technology Committee, the mayor has a busy daily schedule with large ambitions. The area of responsibility is wide and touches thousands of Copenhagen residents and businesses daily. You will become a central figure in both making day-to-day operations run smoothly and ensuring that the long-term strategic goals are always kept in sight.
Your primary tasks
- Strategic sparring and project management: You act as a close sparring partner for the mayor, read political needs and agendas, and independently drive strategic projects
- Stakeholder and network management: You ensure a professional dialogue with the many external stakeholders and support political collaboration with other mayors, ministers and Christiansborg
- Meeting preparation and strategic calendar management: You have the overall responsibility for ensuring that the mayor's calendar aligns with the political and strategic priorities and that the mayor is optimally prepared for meetings. You will also participate yourself in selected, important meetings and travels
- Practical operations and administrative tasks: You contribute to calendar management, email correspondence, minutes writing, and systematic follow-up
Who are you?
We are looking for a profile who thrives in a dynamic, politically governed environment, and who can balance strategic thinking with hard-nosed practical execution.
- Political acumen and strategic understanding: You understand the mechanisms of a political organization and can translate long-term visions into structured daily efforts
- Proactive and solution-oriented: You are ahead of the calendar, anticipate needs and take independent ownership of your tasks
- Strong communication and collaboration skills: You support the directorate's work with political translation for the rest of the administration and create constructive relationships within the administration
About us
You will become part of the City Hall Secretariat, which consists of 22 engaged and capable colleagues. We serve the mayor, the Climate, Environment and Technology Committee, and the executive, and we are also responsible for the administration's press work. We offer an exciting workplace in the heart of the action with a strong collegial camaraderie. You will report daily to the head of the secretariat.
