About the job

Are you sharp with writing, strong digitally and good at creating structure? Then we may have the student job for you.

Personal assistant sought for Children and Young People at Aarhus University Hospital (AUH) – on average 8 hours per week. Are you a student enrolled in a higher education program, and do you want a flexible student job where you can use your written and digital competencies to make a difference, then perhaps you are the one we are looking for?

We are looking for a personal assistant to a development-responsible nurse in Children and Young People, AUH. You will become an important partner in a daily life with exciting development tasks, digital solutions and competence development of health personnel. You do not need to have experience from the health care sector. The most important is that you are structured, have a flair for written communication, IT and digital tools and enjoy helping others to make tasks succeed. As a personal assistant you will have a varied portfolio of tasks.

Your tasks will include, among others, to

  • create an overview and structure – assist with calendar booking and practical administrative tasks
  • work with digital solutions – input and maintain content in an app used by both patients and newly hired staff
  • write and proofread documents e.g. patient guidance and information material for patients, as well as documents in our document management system (E-dok) and in surveys (SurveyXact)
  • produce short videos – film and edit short videos used in our app for communication and learning.

Who are you?

We imagine you are a student in a higher education program – perhaps within medicine, communication or another relevant field.

We especially emphasize that you

  • have strong written skills and a sense for linguistic quality
  • are comfortable with IT and eager to work with various digital tools
  • work systematically and structured and have an eye for detail
  • are good at listening, receiving instructions and turning them into action
  • have good collaborative skills and understanding of other people
  • are flexible, proactive and prepared for a daily life where tasks and needs can change.

What can we offer you?

  • a flexible student job with meaning and the opportunity to bring your skills into play in an organization where development and learning are an important part of daily life
  • exciting and varied tasks where no two days are necessarily the same
  • ongoing introduction and guidance so you are well prepared for the tasks
  • flexible working hours arranged with consideration to your study, exams, etc.
  • a close collaboration with the development-responsible nurse, whom you will be personal assistant to
  • insight into development and implementation tasks in a Children and Young People department
  • capable, helpful and engaged colleagues who value professionalism, collaboration and a good mood.
