Pharmaconomist sought for free-of-charge dispensing, Region Zealand Hospital Pharmacy

Be part of providing citizens with flexible, safe and easy access to medicine via medicine boxes and selected private pharmacies

In the Region of Zealand, non-admitted citizens in ongoing hospital treatment are offered to collect their free-of-charge medication via one of the region's medicine boxes or selected private pharmacies. A concept that provides greater flexibility regarding both pickup location and time. You will, with a focus on patient safety and professional competence, be part of this task.

The position is 37 hours or by agreement, and you will become part of our team for Citizen-Centric Supply South / Medication Distribution in Næstved.

Your tasks will primarily be

• handling orders from Sundhedsplatformen
• contact with departments and citizens
• packing and preparing medicine for delivery in medicine boxes.

Who are you?

The Distribution is a busy workplace where daily life is characterized by deadlines and many ad hoc tasks. It is therefore clearly advantageous if you are good at creating an overview and can work systematically in a busy everyday life.

It is not a prerequisite that you have experience of working in a hospital pharmacy, as we will ensure you receive thorough training, but it would be an advantage if you are familiar with IT and quick to acquire new knowledge.

We offer

An exciting job where the working environment is both independent and in a team, and is characterized by strong engagement and quality-conscious colleagues.

You will become part of a team of 12 employees (5 pharmacy assistants, 6 pharmaconomists and 1 lead pharmaconomist), and our main task is to pack medicines for the region's hospitals and psychiatry in addition to the task with medicine boxes and private pharmacies.

Working hours on weekdays between 7:30 and 15:15.

Employment from December 1, 2026 or by agreement. Salary and employment follow the current collective agreement with the Pharmaconomists’ Association

About the department

The department is part of the Hospital Pharmacy's medicines supply, which purchases and delivers medicines for about 1 billion DKK per year to hospitals and psychiatry in Region Zealand. In total about 40 employees distributed across four units.

From summer 2027, work begins on planning the move to the new medicines supply and the move will take place no later than summer 2029.

Region Zealand Hospital Pharmacy is establishing a new Medicines Supply, which will be located at Køge Nord. The Medicines Supply is expected to be completed in 2028 and all employees in the Distribution in Næstved will be moved to Køge Nord.
